Hi, I’m Daniel Compton, I run Deps. I’m a software developer living with my family in small-town Morrinsville, New Zealand. I’m a maintainer and administrator of Clojars, the Clojure community Maven repository, and the founder of Clojurists Together. I also wrote and recorded The REPL Clojure newsletter and podcast.

I built Deps because I couldn’t find a fast, simple, and reliable way to store Maven artifacts without running a server. I wanted to fix this so I created Deps in 2016, and it has been running ever since.
